Easy Way to Organize Trade Show

I almost can’t believe when I was appointed by my company to be supervisor for our upcoming trade show event. Of course this is a rare opportunity and I have to work hard to show my competency in the field. It also means more work hours, more problems to solve, and less time to enjoy at home. The good thing is I happened to have an Event Organizer as my boyfriend. He’s a specialist in trade show displays. I asked for his help to come up with a good plan for the event, and also designing the trade show carpet. With his help, there are fewer problems I have to deal with.

I can now concentrate in finding cheap grocery store to buy various items. The items will be given to our customers as a gift at the event day. It’s not easy though. The company wants the lowest price possible for the items and giving out a low budget for it. I have to use my persuasion skill to convince the grocery store owner to give me a low price.

Other task needs to be done is the entertainment thing. I don’t want to arrange a complicated deals with some high class performer. Besides, the budget is low, remember. So I just have to use my persuasion skill once again and convince my younger brother to have his band perform at the event for free.

The night before the event day, my boyfriend gets the whole stage ready. He sets up the trade show flooring, using various logo mats and logo canopy. My brother’s band already did a sound check and it’s all set ready for tomorrow. Just one thing make me surprised, my brother asked my boyfriend to make a banner for his band and now their banner stands are displayed around the stage. They look just like a professional band invited to perform with a huge fee. Good way to promote his band isn’t?
